The Nefertiti neck lift is a new technique by placing multiple injections of Neurotox along the lower jawline, as well as along the upper neck, and at times down the side of the neck along the platysma muscle. Once these muscles are relaxed, the net effect is an upward pull from facial muscles, lifting the jowl; and creating a younger jawline, neck, and face. For a lasting result the treatment needs to be repeated every 3 to 4 months. Although most of the patients are happy with the results, the off-label use of botulinum toxin A is not a replacement for surgery.
