Coronavirus Disease (Covid-19) Awareness

To my loyal clients, my friends:

I would to thank you for your loyalty and your trust. I have been privileged to meet you and serve your needs over the past years and will be delighted to continue my commitment to help you look better and feel better. But aesthetics goes deeper than that. It is the time not to be cavalier with our community’s safety.

At these strange times, it seems that the best way to make sure you, our staff and community stay healthy and safe, is temporary close our door, until which time we all feel safe to resume our normal daily life.

It’s important for all of us to act smarter and more consciously. That’s why I want to personally update you on the situation with COVID-19 (Coronavirus) and the steps we are taking to ensure your health and safety.

To ensure you always have access to the latest information and guidance, I encourage you to refer to Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) website on the COVID-19 situation that is continually being updated with cleaning policies and actions we’re implementing to keep you safe, ways you can stay healthy while living your day to day tasks.
Simple personal hygiene including frequent hand washing and not touching your eyes, nose or mouth is essential to minimizing the spread of the COVID-19 and other viruses. While we know our members are following this guidance, The AAAMS is putting hand sanitizers on all counters.
Transparency is one of our core values, and we are committed to keeping you fully informed as the situation evolves.

Following guidance from public health officials, every person has a role to play. So much of protecting yourself and your family comes down to common sense:

  • Washing hands with soap and water.

  • Avoiding touching eyes, nose or mouth with unwashed hands.

  • Cover your cough or sneeze with a tissue or your elbow.

  • Avoiding close contact with people who are sick.

  • Staying away from work, school or other people if you become sick with respiratory symptoms like fever and cough.

  • Testing and self-quarantine if you become sick with respiratory symptoms like fever and cough.

Thank you for your continued trust in me.

Best always,

Sam Assassa, M.D.
