Laser Celluraze™: “The Ultimate Cellulite Treatment of the Stars”
Affected Areas: Cellulite is a skin change that appears as dimpling in the thighs and buttocks. This dimpling is the result of tension placed on the skin by fibrous bands that course through fat. Aging, hormones, genetics and dramatic weight changes can all play a role in the appearance of cellulite. These factors can cause connective tissue bands under the skin to stiffen and the fat cells they surround to become larger and push up into the skin. And that creates the “cottage cheese” appearance.
LASER CELLURAZE™ Levels out bumps of fat, treats dimples by releasing the fibrous bands that pull down on the skin, and Stimulates collagen production increases your skin’s thickness and elasticity for a smoother look. LASER CELLURAZE™ is able to treat cellulite in most stages of development, and gets rid of the “orange peel” texture of the skin.
How it Works: LASER CELLURAZE™ delivers results that last, and all it takes is a single anti-cellulite treatment. Here’s what you can expect during your procedure: Dr. Assassa will mark the areas of cellulite to be treated with a marker, then local anesthesia or numbing solution is inroduced (you’ll be awake during the procedure).
Then tiny incisions (entry points) will be made, about the size of the tip of a pen to introduce the cannula that delivers the laser. The energy of laser is used to melt bulging fat pockets, break down the fiber strands that cause skin dimpling, and stimulate collagen production and tightens the skin.
The treatment session consists of three parts: the first is the use of laser energy guided deep to heat and melt the bulging herniated fat pockets which cause the cellulite cottage cheese appearance, second the laser is directed to an intermediate depth to cut the Fibrous bands that cause skin dimples, and last part is passing the laser underneath the skin to tighten it and increase its elasticity.
Recovery: LASER CELLURAZE™ is a procedure done in the office that requires local anesthesia. Patients do experience slight discomfort, redness, bruising and swelling in and around the treated areas.
