How it Works: BOTOX® is injected under the skin into the deeper, underlying muscles. We create a calculated balance between the upward lifting muscles and downward pulling muscles. The aim is not to inject the lifting muscles, and to cancel the work of the muscles that cause downward pull. When this properly applied, we can create a forehead lift, eyebrow lift, and lower facelift thus softening the jowls.
